Faculty

Comparative Literature is a vibrant interdisciplinary program that brings together faculty from a range of departments and programs. Some faculty are appointed specifically in Comparative Literature, but the program is actively supported by faculty in many other departments and programs, including the foreign language and literature departmentsAfricana StudiesEnglishLatino/a StudiesReligionTheatre, and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies, among others.

The 2024-2025 Program Advisory Committee consists of Christopher Bolton (fall Program Chair), Sarah Allen (spring Program Chair), Edan Dekel, Amal Eqeiq, Gail Newman, and Christopher Nugent.
